Fine fragrance requires performance.

To create a scent that evolves on skin (from sparkling top notes, to floral heart, to warm base) and lasts all day, perfumers rely on a palette that blends naturals with safe, clean synthetics. Naturals alone can be beautiful, but they often fade too quickly or lack the diffusion you expect in a luxury perfume.

Clean synthetics are safer and more sustainable.
Some of the synthetics we use, like Hedione, Iso E Super, or macrocyclic musks, are considered safer and more eco-friendly than their natural counterparts. For example, harvesting certain natural musks or florals can be unsustainable or allergenic, while lab-made versions deliver the same artistry without the ethical or safety concerns.

Ritual sprays are designed differently.
Our ritual sprays aren’t meant to last all day on skin — they’re meant to transform a room, freshen linens, or reset your energy in the moment. Because they don’t require the structure or longevity of fine fragrance, we keep them 100% natural: pure essential oils and botanical extracts that feel light, airy, and effortless.
